Weekly Library Visits

From the age of 2, children at our Centre enjoy weekly excursions to the Mill Park Library. These visits help foster a love of reading, language, and storytelling from an early age.

During our library sessions, children have the opportunity to:

• Explore a wide range of age-appropriate books
• Participate in group story time and songs
• Develop early literacy skills in a fun, engaging way
• Learn about caring for and respecting books

In addition, children learn how to walk safely to and from the library with their educators. These outings provide valuable opportunities to practice road safety skills and develop an awareness of the world around them.

Our weekly library visits also help children build connections with the local community and provide them with a strong sense of belonging beyond the Centre.
